Tara Krista
Founder and Program Head Coach, SuperNova Head Coach
Tara Krista is currently the Chi-Hi Cheer and Stunt Program Director. She was Chi-Hi's Head Cheer and Stunt Coach from 2000 to 2008 and was the coach and captain of the University of Wisconsin - Stout Blue Devils Cheer and Stunt Team from 1995 to 1997. She is a Chi-Hi Cheer and Stunt Alumni. Tara is a USASF credentialed coach for levels 1-4, NFHS (National Federation of State High School Associations) certified. Tara graduated with a B.S. in Civil Engineering from the University of Wisconsin - Madison in 1999. She is married to Jason Krista and is a mother of 4 (Owen, Ava, Dane and Hayden) and works as a Civil Engineer at Short Elliott Hendrickson, Inc in Chippewa Falls. Contact Tara at tara@teamupgym.com
Katie Myers
Program Head Assistant Coach, Rising Stars Coach, SuperNova Coach
Katie was a member of the University of Wisconsin-Stout Blue Devils Cheer and Stunt team from 1998 to 2000. She graduated with a B.S. in Early Childhood Education from UW-Stout. Katie is a USASF credentialed coach for levels 1-4. She is an Eau Claire North Alumni Cheerleader. Katie competed at both the high school and college levels. Katie is married to Dave Myers and is a mother of 3 (Brayden, Zoe and Bryn) and works as a Kindergarten Teacher in Eau Claire. Contact Katie at chippewavalleyspirit@gmail.com
Andrea Pritchard
Shining Stars Head Coach
Andrea Pritchard is a former member/captain of the Chi Hi Cheer and Stunt Team and was also a coach from 2005-2008 of the same program. Andrea is a USASF credentialed coach for levels 1-4. Andrea received her Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education from the University of Wisconsin - Eau Claire in December 2010. She works as a Library Media Specialist at South Middle School in Eau Claire. At CVS, Andrea is able to combining her love of teaching and cheerleading!
Laura Pritchard
Shining Stars Assistant Coach
Laura Pritchard is a former member/captain of the Chi Hi Cheer and Stunt Team and is a USASF credentialed coach for levels 1-4. She was also a member of the UW-Dance Ensemble throughout her college career. Laura has recently received her Bachelor of Science Degree in Hotel, Restaurant and Tourism Management from the University of Wisconsin - Stout in December 2011. She is currently working at the Avalon Hotel and Conference Center.
